A 100 bones is easier to drop on something that may or may not work for me and could become disposable in the event of an incident. I am looking at changing/trying a different brand as some more recent reviews have been negative about the quality of Pearl products.

Ironically, on my commuter, I dropped 300 bones on a saddle without trying it and didn't think twice about it. If wife finds the cost of that, my story is this - my ass deserves the finest Italian leather.
