I can show you pictures of Genesee or Miramar road at times when you can lay down in the street, and at other times when it is far less forgiving. There are times on both roads when I can easily make vehicular left turns, and there are times when I could hold my arm out "forever" to signal a lane change and motor traffic will not let me in.
