Don't cringe at the source, this helmet actually is decent; in-molded, decently ventilated, and VERY adjustable. They have adult and youth sizes, same design, assorted colors, and my kids wore them for YEARS. If there would be weak points: ventilation COULD be better, and the visor can be fragile. Treat it well, and it will last.
I actually have one of these (or something very similar). I had driven my truck to Michigan, hauling my bike with me. I realized I had forgotten my helmet. I couldn't find a bike shop in town, so I went to WalMart. I found a $30 helmet. It's now my spare hanging in the closet.
