Well, the bike arrived today, apparently safe- in spite of a good-sized tear in the box. I took it to my lbs, and his first comment- in spite of seeming to be happy to assemble it for me for his standard fee was "Uh, oh- another internet bike". When he saw the damage to the box, he nearly refused to accept it- due to possible damage- but we opened the box and everything appeared to be o.k.
I should get the bike back from him Friday. Man, it looks light! Can't wait! Will post a picture of it Friday.
