and a cf post needs the correct torque to stop it slipping down so tension on the clamp is torque wrench critical. And when cf fails it does so in a catastrophic manner.
I doubt LA and the guys think the minor weight savings are worth the risk.
no way, sounds painful all that extra stuffing around, especially with all the km's they put in, you wouldn't want a failure.
Those on the road minor adjustments would be impossible with a CF seatpost, imagine trying to get the right torque hanging out of the car with an allen key at 50 k/ph.
