The regrets about selling stuff can drive one to become a collector or hoarder. I've so far managed to make peace with stuff I've sold with one exception. I picked up a 1962 Vox AC30/4 amp head at a local guitar shop. Back then I didn't know much about the history of those amps, and ended up selling it for what I thought was a good price, because it was heavy, and a little noisy. I have since discovered that those are pretty much holy grail amps, with a unique ef86 tube circuit. Years later I ran into the guy who bought it. He still has it, and actually used it to clone the circuit to produce his on line of hand-made replicas (JMJ Amps). He lets me play it sometimes...
