My addiction only goes back 3 years and its attraction is causing me to think seriously about retirement. I've got a good job, work out of my house and wish I had more time for cycling. Also, I just bought a new single even though most of my riding is on our tandem and I day dream about going off road on a mountain bike. I consider the single N+1/2, but who is counting.
Seriously, cycling arrested a 20 year decline in fitness, ever since I freed myself from my running addiction in my early 40's. It's really a pretty affordable addiction, but then we showed horses for 20 years which makes most other addictions look pretty affordable.
