Here is my best bang for the buck helmet light.. let it be known the actual output is closer to 70 lumens.. I use these running and they work great.. The light has high - low and slow flashing (about 90 pulses per minute) If this is be seen light - use the flashing mode.

Once you get the light, there is small screw on the side, lightly tighten, this will add tension to the ratcheting system and will keep it in place when riding.. Take the straps off, there useless.. Buy a velcro loop either 12 or 18 inches work fine.. REI has some nice ones and the velcro hold everything in place fine.. total investment, 10.00..
