Generally speaking, there is only one Alpha. The others are just tagging along being pack animals. You can try to out run them, and may be successfu, l but if you aren't, you risk going down at high speed. If a dog attacks, stand your ground, I have even growled at them. That normally stops them in their tracks. I used to show Bouviers and had the odd problematic dog. I have even grabbed them by the jowls and thrown them to the ground. If you do that, end up on top. It scares them into submission pretty quickly.
