Well, no Kona dealers within any reasonable distance, though I did look at the Sutra... very nice bike for sure... Ditto the Jamis. It was actually the bike that got me into the idea of having a dedicated commuter bike. As it stands, I can get a Giant OCR Touring for $950 and I think I'm going to jump on it. I'm really liking that bike the more I see it and the price is really nice. It will basically run me $1100 out the door without panniers. That's only marginally more expensive than the K2 @ REI.
