If you go seeking out that sort of thing, you'll find it. If you go looking for adventure, white sandy beaches, jungle resorts, incredible culture, great food, overwhelmingly kind people .... etc... you'll find that.
+1. My wife and I have been to Thailand several times, and, like most countries in the region, it's an absolutely cracking place for a vacation. Sure there is lively sex industry, but you don't have to partake, and the country has so much more to offer. As mentioned: beaches, great food, incredibly friendly people, wildlife, (ruined) temples. Also public transport make the country very easy to get around in. If the reputation as a destination for sex tourists puts you off going there, then you're missing out on what's probably one of the easiest destinations to get into travel outside the Western world.
