According to the velonews article the achilles heel of the Vector is the pedal body manufactured by no-name Exustar. Velonews author actually says it is "entirely possible" the pedal will be the weak point. Don't know how he is able to build this argument, but I will say that pedal feel will be hugely important for many and I'm hoping Garmin gets it right. I love my Ultegra pedals, but I'm pretty easy to please with pedals. As long as they're not speedplays.

Never ceases to amaze me that people get paid good money to make bad decisions. The Chargers gave away their future so they could draft Ryan Leaf #2 in 1988 based on the analysis from trusted scouts. These same scouts may be working for Look/Polar.
