Actually most of the sites and articles/test I see talk about weights with a note on that size. For example, here is Cannondale saying weight is based on a 56cm

I think you might be a little heavy on your CF - my Cervelo which is the heavier, more aero frame, weighs 16 lbs exactly built with D/A, Zipp 303 clinchers, SPD-SL pedals, cages, etc. I think most CF bikes with pedals should easily be under 16 lbs
