32t is too big for a Shimano road derailleur. 7900 may be able to do it if you wave a dead chicken over it while standing in a pentagram, but anything earlier won't even be close.
Would a 28t work? That would shift a lot better too.

Consider using a 39t front chain ring instead of the 42t to get the gearing down more.
