I know nothing about steel, so I emailed my friend in Tokyo who is a retired Pro Keirin rider, and asked him what the choice is here by the pro riders. Most pros here use Kaisei 8630 R tubing. I might add that the rule here in Japan is that if an NJS bike is crashed, it can never be raced again. Interesting.
