Ultegra's nice stuff, but if you're a casual rider I wouldn't bother.... unless you just really want it. Then go for it.
I haven't dealt with 10 speed cogsets, myself, as my old cyclocross/tourer is still using 105/XT components after over 35k miles, but I've heard
they're narrow enough to fit. I won't swear to it, though.
