I originally went with the Serfas Seca in 28MM when I took off the 35MM SLUGS on my 2008 Specialized Globe.
What I didn't like about them is I was constantly getting small rocks imbedded in the front (thunk, thunk....) and had to constantly reach down to brush them off.
After about 2 weeks of that I got the cheapest (then) 26C's from BIKETIRESDIRECT.com.

I have absolutely no complaints with them and they are "slightly" faster/nimble than the Serfas.
