Spray lube for a bicycle chain is such a bad idea for the aforementioned reasons... motorcycle chain lube comes in spray versions but you are not dealing with rim brakes that, once contaminated, will cease to work properly.

A little drop will do ya when it comes to chain lubrication and all excess lube should be wiped off to prevent it from attracting dirt and dust as this will shorten your chain life and increase the service interval.
