It's been a chilly couple of mornings riding home, cool evenings. And yesterday morning I had a wonderful ride home; Sunday mornings are so peaceful!
This morning, I'm toodling along and a gold Ram Crew Cab passes me with the driver honking the horn. I somehow reacted by waving my whole hand instead of just one finger. About a 1/2 mile up the road, I see the same Ram at the gas pump (no doubt putting a hurting on his wallet). Another 1/2 mile down another road, the child with the adult-sized Tonka passes me again, honking again. I again waved. Another mile down the road and the light turned green before I could catch up again so I could grin and wave at his rearview mirror.
I'm grateful for the grin-and-wave advice I picked up on here; it was waaay more fun than letting myself get angry and react with aggressive finger-waving and yelling obscenities. It was awesome practice for the next time I tow the daughter around (now that she's beginning to learn to speak).
