The commute to and from work has become 'common place' after only a few weeks. I get up in the morning, get rigged to ride, have my breakfast and then get out on my Bacchetta and go! The afternoons have been windy, but since the first week I have had no near misses, no flat tires, no angst...it's gotten a little boring! I should knock on wood I guess, it's been fun, and I really enjoy getting on my bike twice a day and making the 8.29 mile ride. The mileage really racks up when you ride nearly every day too. I'm thinner and, I'm sure, healthier than I was when I drove my pickup to work, and I haven't bought a tank of gas in three weeks!!!! Lots of good things about commuting on a bike....
