I amused myself with this math a month or so ago while showering. If you spend 5 minutes a day shaving your face (not even considering your legs), that works out to about 30 hours a year, and 12 full 24-hour days per decade of your life, just shaving. If you sleep for 8 hours every day, then that decade number is actually the equivalent of 18 real-time days that you could have been doing something else during your waking hours. Like biking.
