You don't expect the people who sold you your computer to tell you made it. Why should they? It's standard practice in nearly every industry not to reveal product sourcing information. It's an open secret in some cases, but they're still not going to tell you.
I understand what you're saying, I don't expoect them to tell me who makes thier tools. The stool is more of a promotional item that I would think they'd tell me about. I'd bet if they have T-Shirts they'd probably say it was a Hanes Beefy T
