That's all I have ever asked. When a component goes unnoticed for a long stretch of time, that's when it should be appreciated the most.
While doing a little cleaning of the bike today, I noticed that my rear tire had worn to the tread in several pockmarked places. I was shocked that I hadn't noticed previously, but then I realized that I hadn't had a single flat on that set of tires.
