Even though I grew up speaking standard and dialectical Italian quite fluently, have lived in Italy (for several years in the 1980's), and have a Laurea (not in linguistics but in a technical/scientific discipline) from the Universita degli Studi di Modena, I'll concede that I am not a certified "expert" in the Italian language.
