Here in Chicago we tend to get to know a lot of the SRAM Engineers, Product Managers, executives, etc. The 41 will hand wring about "new red" for a while - it's natural - did anyone happen to catch Richard Sach's rant on his blog about it? The reality is that while some groups have shipped to distributors demand will far outstrip supply util late in the season at best.
Then again that is pretty good when you realize it's actually next mode year's group.....funny how that works eh?
OK, it's just a bit confusing that SRAM is actually calling the group "SRAM Red 2012", as stated on their site when it is in fact 2013 model. Why not just call it "Red 2013"? Do you know are they still producing the old Red? I'm building a bike and thinking whether to go with Force or wait if the old Red comes on sale before June.....
