I agree Thor all the different types are a pain. As you say in the second picture I had to shape the front stays myself to fit the front mudguard. Here in the UK we call them mudguards and you guys call them fenders

You also need a spacer for the rear to space it away from the frame.

Various 20" "fenders" are actually not to hard to get hold of in the UK.
