Rootboy...if you don't mind unsolicited advice, I've been where you are right now. Sell it. There are always other bikes out there that you will love (for less money). Unless this was the ONE AND ONLY bike you most dreamed about, strike while the iron is hot. Toss yours up for $800 with a link to that auction, take the money and run. I did that with my Raleigh Pro and don't regret it at all.
I've never regretted selling a bike...there are always other bikes. If it even enters your head that you MIGHT want to sell it, SELL IT! If it's a true must have keeper, you'll never even think about it.
