I just got my 2.5mm carbon spacer in today. It puts my stem/steerer gap at the top to the exact specs called for by Cannondale. When I got the NOS frameset the fork steerer was cut pretty short. With the 5mm spacer it was technically out of spec and "not safe" so I didn't want to ride it until I got the proper spacer.
