@redpear: 75gi+ gogo! I see a 48x16 in your future. You can make it up just about any hill in sf and not spin out too much on the descents. 23.5mph @ 100rpm is coolen on the flats, too.
edit: when I say 'hill' I am excluding things like Twin Peaks, O'Shaughnessy, and possibly Legion of Honor. Basically all of the Monday ride, haha.
48x16 is probably too high for me. I have a 15t I could try to get a similar gearing at 46x15, but that's San Diego only. And it's definitely too high for mt. tam
I will probably try 46/16 though. Gino's gearing at 50x18 is pretty perfect I think, but I'd rather just get a new cog.
