Your statement makes it sound like the canning is because of the deal. There might not be a direct correlation.
From what o was told, it was directly related. It was unorganized and not communicated well to many of the cervelo retailers. Again if I understand it right, cervelo had the discount deal, but there was no discount or kick back to the bike shop. This means the bike shop automatically loses profit since there margin just went way down.
