I have a older pair of Sidi Storm 3's - They look very much like those but aren't gore tex, they use an older technology, something called "outlast" material instead for weather protection. So FWIW like all my other Sidi shoes they are well made and perform great as cycling shoes which is as to be expected from Sidi. But they fall short in the warmth department. With a thick wool sock and the thickest Pi booties over them I can get to about 10-15F before they are just not warm enough. At this point I consider them a late fall and early spring shoe. Definitely warmer than my lorica or mesh sidi's but not able to handle the deep super cold winter like we usually have in Minnie ( although not this year!) I really cant attest to how water proof they are but they do seem to be fairly repellent, which so far has been more than adequate for my purposes. All in all I'm glad I have them, They have and will last a long time. Im a Sidi loyalist for fit and performance they make they best shoes for me.
