You clearly have an issue with people you view as overweight. The pinning of his number was not what this comment was based on. If it was, him beating you would have little impact on your moral. Posting somebodies picture on the internet just to make fun of them...is not the type of representation our sport needs. Telling somebody they shouldn't enter a race because it takes somebody else's slot that is more deserving because they stand a better chance (aka skinnier)...you're coming across as an elitist. We're all proud of our accomplishements, but bashing others on what you view as a failure is no accomplishment.

I too had reached a point where I was carrying more weight than I was comfortable with. I became very public about it and used it as motivation, but it was my personal choice to make and would not have taken kindly to you making it for me. I came to this sport to lose it and yeah, I too took a lot of criticism, but you know what, many of those that criticized me...they're still in the lower cats and frankly, if you were that superior, you wouldn't be in his category either. I've made the mistake of judging others by outward appearances but kept it to myself. More than once I've been very suprised, I try not to do it anymore.
