I bought a heavy duty trico plastic case and utilized it for the first time a couple weeks ago on a plane trip over to Hawaii. The bike faired pretty well, only one small tear in the handle bar tape, but the trico case itself ended up slightly crushed. It was obvious that no one attempted to baby this pkg. I can only imagine what my bike would have looked like if packed in a n ordinary cardboard box! By the way, having my bikei n Hawaii was fantastic!
