Race started, pace was kinda slow, so I attacked right away. Lasted for about the first lap and a half then got caught. My teammate (and roommate) countered and got followed by about 4 guys which turned out to be the move. One of my other teammates attacked and bridged up (unfortunately dragging a Cumberland rider with him) which worked him over at the end unfortunately. I remained in the field the whole race and along with Cumberland pretty much controlled the race and didn't let anything go. Team still ended up with a 3rd, 6th, 9th.
Decided against the P12 circuit so I could save up for the ITT and the TTT. Didn't end up getting much recovery time as I was walking around all afternoon trying to satisfy various individual's requests (I was sort of the race director). Ended up getting about all of 2 minutes of hard riding before the ITT. Overestimated what I was able to do on the way out (avged a little over 105% on the way out and on the way back was dying at 5 watts above FTP) - luckily next race I'll be able to find a chair after the first race. Still did a good ride for the first TT of the season, 14:59 for 7 miles.
Collegiate TTT - ended up starting almost in the dark. We had a follow car with the lights on and I must say it was a really cool experience. I'm not 100% sure, but I'd wager that the team won as I took a death pull near the end and as a result I cut the time a bit early but with about .1 mile remaining we were at 14:01 for a 7 mile TT. Cumberland is the only other team that may have come close to that.
yeh, i think he ended up taking a video too.
Velo if it who I think it is he is a former pro from Europe so you were in good company.
