What good is a link that is NOT reusable? Pay $8 - $10 every time I clean the chain? No thanks!
Yeah, the master links are the same price as a new Campagnolo rivet pin. I used to reuse SRAM 10-speed connectors, but only up to 2 times during the life of the chain. That was also 10-speed, not 11-speed. I don't think I'd feel comfortable reusing an 11-speed link that is advertised as non-reusable. It is probably best to clean the chain while it's on the bike using a scrubbing mechanism. I have never done this before myself, but maybe now is the time to start. It does seem like it would be a cleaner, easier process with the chain on the bike.
