Been talking with a friend who's a pro fitter about adjustments that are needed if I decide to get aerobars. He tells me that the seat and bars need to be repositioned so the pedaling angle of the hip is the same as the best upright position (downward pitch of the nose of the saddle and ...???. It might require different crank lengths ). The goal isn't scrunching or belly bumping. He takes power measurements and tries to maintain the best output and comfort in the new aero position.
