The Huffy Concours was a vastly under-rated bike. I had one pass through my hands. The Shimano components were of good quality and very reliable. The frame was a good quality, lugged steel, typical of the time period. If you took off the Huffy decals and put on Motobecane, Raleigh or Peugeot, the bike probably would have sold for more and would have been more highly regarded. I sold the one I had to a guy in his 70's. He rebuilt the hubs and BB, added new tires then took it on a 120 mile bike ride a couple of years ago. I lost touch with him, but last I heard, he was going to upgrade the cranks!
