Perhaps it's mostly psychological. I know I can be sitting here at work at 60bpm but 15 min before I leave, it goes up to 90. When I'm at the door, it's at 120. Usually the day after a hard workout, I can be sitting here and it'd be running around 70.
You should see me when I run, 2 miles on flat ground and I'll be pegged at 180+. I don't think I'm able to run more than 6-7mph.
