Got it finally assembled. Just in case you are wondering how I managed to do that on a weekday--I took the sickie I threatened about yesterday. Couple of points came about in the build and they came as I expected. The steeper seat tube angle means that I no longer have the saddle right forward on the rails. My thighs are short and it has always caused a problem- unless I went to a smaller frame that does not fit my upper body. It is an ally frame with CF seat stays and fork so hopefully it will be a resilient ride. Should be with the R500 wheels that are not noted for being the stiffest around.
Still the blue garage door but this is the way it will be run as soon as the roads clear of Ice. Stem will be cut once I have settled on the bar height but I think this is how it is going to stay. This is my first NON compact frame so it will be interesting to see if My short legs have a problem. I was going to change the bar tape to black but white was supplied and it is thick. I can always change it if I don't like it but this is the thickest tape I have come across.Might be a reason for that.
And once built up-I had to compare it to the two other road bikes. Not any difference on saddle or bar height so it will interesting to see how it feels on the road.
