Really like the colour scheme. I find white on green easy to read. There seems to be a fade in the green background as well that adds a nice touch.

To me the top banner looks too big top to bottom. I wonder what it would look like cut down to 1/3 of what it is now and the font size for "The Headbadge" reduced accordingly.

As others said the navigation bar would be better higher up...maybe just under the banner. I like the way the navigation bar works on this site
