Thanks for the suggestions. The Headwind's caught my attention so I'm glad to hear a recomend. A few years ago I bought some tights from Performance or NB, don't remember what they were called, that were supposed to be good for cold weather but aren't, although I get a lot of use out of them on mild days.

In my book, the far upper end of reasonable is $100. I'm sure some people can justify spending more, but not for the amount I get to ride in the winter.
