Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!

Properly installed Shimano and Campy bottom bracket cable quides come pretty far back and around the bb shell for the non-drive side (front derailleur cable) guide groove so I wonder if you have the guide bolted into the correct hole in the bb shell. Many frames have a couple of holes at the bottom of the bb shell, one for the cable quide and one as a drain hole. If the guide in the right one?
