I am not 100% sure but triumph would have been acquired by Raleigh in the early 50's possibly 1953/54. The reason for the interest is purely from a motorcycle standpoint. I have always had British motorcycles, Triumph being my favorite and would like to have an actual Triumph bicycle, not a Triumph badged Raleigh. It seems to be a daunting task and I am probably going to have to settle for a triumph badged Raleigh which are fairly common. If I go the Raleigh/Triumph route the bike is going to have to be pristine. I'll keep looking, but thought it was worthwhile to ask on here. Seems to be a great deal of knowledge and a huge member base. Thanks jmagruder10 for the link
