Winter has arrived in North Alabama with a vengeance. It might have gotten to 35F today but the wind never slowed below 15-20mph. I was out in the garden harvesting collards then I put the plastic greenhouses on the beds to save the crop. Humidity still very high so the cold cuts to the bone. Tonight the low is 17F. Now that's bona fide cold.

edit: I did get in a 6.5 mile hike on Sunday. Saw a couple of brave souls on bikes; the wind is still pretty brisk.
