^^^Bad technique is rampant and that's mostly because people think that as long as you can balance on two wheels and shift, from there is just "pedal the hell out of it" and nothing else. When I started racing a bike at age 9, we were coached in riding technique and then coached on how to race a bike. Even if you are the equivalent of a 20 handicap in bike riding, you can still learn how to ride better.

We do a bit of technique and riding position coaching during fittings. It's funny to see people, as they employ what we talk about, look at their stroke and power improvements simply by technique changes.
