Got part of a peugeot, what is it and is it worth fixing? pictures inside

Got this for nothing and wondering if it's worth the time/money to get it going.

mallard hubs laced to some dented/cracked rigida 700c rims.

Ishiwata triple butted tubes, size 56cm

paint is shot, someone started sanding the rear triangle and toptube so it's missing it's model name decal.

Rear shifter mount is squashed like someone took a vice grips to it

Any info on what model it is and where I could track down an original or same quality fork would be great if I do build this up as a single speed/fixie since the shift mount is bad.
