you stated that you bought a masi speciale limited, not a fixed ultimate, 3 years ago & then you linked to a 2012 model. if i'm not mistaken, the ultimate fixed masi came out in 2010 (which if i have my math correct works out to 2 years ago, right?) so unless you also have a time machine you could not have bought one of those 3 years ago.
so my friend...it appears that it is you who needs to know your bikes, or else learn to get your story straight when you are trying to show off.

I stand humbly corrected it was indeed a 2010. I will now flog myself. Not sure where the "showing off" comment came from though as I was simply explaining my forray into fixes and single speeds. My point was that a ridiculously priced carbon framed carbon belt drive weight weeny bike didn't satisfy me as much as a Masi at nearly 5 times less " employee purchase" cost to me!
