Avoid if possible or wear a dust mask if it bothers you. Probably not as bad as inhaling dust on a dirt road. Your exposure is probably so limited, it's unlikely to be of much consequence. Otherwise, wouldn't the anti-road salt whackos (I mean environmentalists) be all over it?
