Update!
Hey Everyone, thanks for all the help. I went down this evening and picked up the diamondback. As expected, the salesman knew less about the bike than i did lol. I need to adjust the front de railer a bit, as it rubs. Going to watch a bunch of you tube videos, and read a lot on here to see if i cant figure it out. Worse case, I will run it down to a small bike shop. I also managed to get an additional 10% off, so I was about $540 out the door.
Congrats on the bike! I'd suggest that if you've never dealt with derailleurs before, to take it to a shop and have them adjust it for you. When I tried to fix even just a tiny chain rub on my front derailleur, I screwed up the whole thing and had to get the cable and housing replaced (about $10). But hey maybe you're a little more mechanically inclined than I am.
