And no, I'm not a parent, but let me get this straight: As a parent, you have the right to do whatever you want when something happens to your kid? Well, let's hope you do something and get thrown in the slammer. There is no excuse. Parent or not.
Most parents I know will KILL if someone does something to harm their child. Their excuse will be, "He harmed my child."
Similarly, mama bear will kill you if you get close to the cub, you don't even have to mess with it to end up quite dead. It's basic instinct and the law of nature.
Kicking the guy's broken leg may at first seem cruel, but when you take the guy's attitude into account and a parent's instinct, a far more deadly outcome could have been the end result.
Man's law and modern civlilties is not going to stop mama bear from defending her cub.
